workshops & Safe spaces
Whether it’s a unique class from one of our residents, or something hosted directly by The Dark Parlour, learning always plays a key role in who we are as a brand.
private bookings & Rentals
In addition to private shopping experiences, we also offer rentals for use of our unique space including private meetings, studio space, birthday celebrations, and more. Room rates inside the Parlour are $75 per hour, per room. Please contact us to arrange a special package price for use of all 6 rooms/use of the entire Haus.
Additionally, working with The Parliament Arts Organization and Casta Cigars, we offer rentals of our shared outdoor courtyard space. For an additional fee, your courtyard rental could include additional seating, a 10×30 wedding tent, sound equipment, and more. All booking for the courtyard is done through the Parliament.

herb bundles
Resident Diviner Rissa leads a class on do-it-yourself herb bundles. Participants learned more about sacred smoke from herbs, flowers, and resins, and explore their practical and spiritual uses. The class also explored an overview on cultural uses of white sage, palo santo, and pinon use for “smudging and saging,” and alternatives. Attendees learned how to combine herbs into bundles for drying, safe handling and foraging techniques, and connecting to the plant world as a creative medium.

Lecture
Author Matt Lake was with us for three days, providing an overview of his book on H.H. Holmes A Serial Killer in His Own Words.
“H.H. Holmes did what few serial killers ever do. He published a series of autobiographical documents that revealed his sociopathic tendencies–and lied about his crimes. The infamous killer of the Chicago World’s Fair published a memoir and a confession, both of which conceal more than they reveal of the truth. Then he gave a speech at his hanging that recanted everything. This series of documents, edited and explained by Matt Lake, author of Weird Pennsylvania, show the dark but charming side of a man who lured somewhere between 24 and 200 men, women, and children to their deaths.”
